NFPA 70E Training

Electrical safety in workplace training

Why do you need nfpa 70E training

Working around energized electrical equipment presents serious risk. Arc flash, electric shock, and equipment failure can result in fire hazard and catastrophic injury if proper safety practices aren’t followed. That’s why NFPA 70E training is mandatory every three years for any worker exposed to electrical hazards—whether directly or indirectly.

Employers are required by OSHA 1910 Subpart S and NFPA 70E (2024) to provide electrical safety training to workers who may come in contact with energized equipment. But beyond compliance, this training is a critical investment in workforce safety, productivity, and long-term risk reduction.

According to OSHA, thousands of workers are injured or killed each year due to preventable electrical incidents. With proper training, the majority of these incidents can be avoided.

About This Training

C&H Electric’s NFPA 70E training is delivered in person by instructors with extensive experience in electrical systems, arc flash prevention, and safety compliance. Designed for maximum engagement, our classroom-style sessions go beyond passive learning by integrating real-world examples, open discussion, and role play scenarios. Attendees benefit from direct instructor feedback, and peer collaboration tailored to the specific challenges of their work environment.

This training is fully aligned with the NFPA 70E 2024 edition and can be tailored to both Qualified or Unqualified workers across multiple industries.
